Lempicka

A sweeping original musical inspired by the life and art of Tamara de Lempicka. After its Broadway run in 2024 and three Tony Award nominations, the show went on to a sold-out production in Korea.

Matt Gould is a composer, writer, producer, and director creating work across theater, music, live performance, and large-scale creative production.

He wrote the music and co-book for the Broadway musical Lempicka, which earned three Tony Award nominations and went on to a sold-out production in Korea, and he co-wrote Witness Uganda.

His solo show Sad Zaddy premieres at New York’s Public Theater this summer. In the commercial space, he conceives and directs ambitious live experiences for artists, public figures, brands, and institutions.
